This is a great loss to the Multiphase Flow and Heat Transfer Community and XJTU!!! I can still remember that I attended the annual conference of the Chinese Society of Multiphase Flow in Shanghai in October 1998. I together with Profs. Xuejun Chen, Tingkuan Chen, Yushan Luo and Jianan Yao etc. had a tour in the down town along the Huangpu river in the evening then. Time flies. God bless in the heaven!!! I will continue to do my best to contribute to multiphase flow and heat transfer research as a former Ph.D. student at the State Key Lab. of Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
